Feature articles should review significant scientific findings in an area
of interest to a broad range of microbiologists. They should
include background for microbiologists in disparate fields.
The writing should be free of jargon. Manuscripts typically
should be no longer than 20-25 double-spaced typed pages,

Policy
and public responsibility (PPR) items may cover any topic of interest to microbiology
related to science policy. Manuscripts typically should
not exceed four double-spaced pages. Send now...
Biographies should deal with microbiologists
or other scientists who have made important contributions
to Industrial Microbiology. Brief biographies (one sentence)
of important persons mentioned in the text should be included
after the text of the article. Manuscripts typically should
not exceed 15 to 20 double-spaced pages, including all

Net News is a review of useful
internet sites for microbiologists, students or anyone
interested in the field of science. Submissions can be
